About Us

Welcome to the Porsche Club of America’s Absaroka Region!

The Absaroka (Ab-SORE-Ka) Region may be one of the Porsche Club of America’s smaller regions by member size, but we think it’s one of the busiest.  Chartered in 1978, the Absaroka Region is divided over two states, Montana and Wyoming and is a member of PCA Zone 14.  Our region covers 27 of 53 counties in Montana and 9 of 23 counties in Wyoming an astonishing 103,000 square miles!  Not to be overcome by these challenges, the region works hard to spread its events across our footprint and membership base.

We were chartered by PCA in 1978 and are legally established as a Montana Corporation and as a nonprofit 501 (c)(7) Social Club with the IRS for tax purposes.

Our footprint is includes:

Montana Counties: Big Horn, Blaine, Carbon, Carter, Custer, Daniels, Dawson, Fallon, Fergus, Garfield, Golden Valley, McCone, Musselshell, Petroleum, Phillips, Powder River, Prairie, Richland, Roosevelt, Rosebud, Sheridan, Stillwater, Sweet Grass, Treasure, Valley, Wheatland, Wibaux, Yellowstone;

Wyoming Counties:  Big Horn, Campbell, Crook, Hot Springs, Johnson, Park County except Yellowstone National Park, Sheridan, Washakie, Weston

The Absaroka Region is active all year long, but really hits full revs with our annual season kickoff tour to Chico Hot Springs Resort in April.  Driving tours to interesting and beautiful places in Montana continue all summer and conclude in the fall with a BBQ or picnic drive. Our region includes some of the most scenic drives in North America ranging from high alpine roads to wide, open spaces.  Our events are family oriented.  We obey all traffic laws and enjoy getting out and discovering our beautiful state in our Porsches.  Our typical day tour/membership meeting is a destination drive followed by lunch and a membership meeting.  Afterwards you are generally on your own to explore the destination at your liesure.

Our biggest annual event is our All Euro Car Show held each August in Billings.  We showcase a different European car each year and dedicate our proceeds to charity.  It is also our biggest membership drive of the year.

Our members are a fun and welcoming group where the car is the common interest item that brings us together, and friendship is the glue that makes us strong.

The Absaroka Region is a great way to meet fellow Porsche drivers and get to know people in Montana and Wyoming.  New members are always welcomed and encouraged to participate. The more the merrier.

Due to our club’s small size we actively participate in autocross with the SCCA Yellowstone Region and in Driver Education events with fellow PCA Big Sky Region.  These events are a fun way improve your driving skills.

We have an informal Breakfast Club meeting on the 2nd Saturday of each month in Billings. Come and enjoy your car and our members.

To participate in an event simply show up.  We welcome all Porsche drivers regardless of one’s membership in PCA.  Our goal is to have a good time, create memories and friendships.  We’re certain you’ll have a great time and want to join our ranks in the Porsche Club of America Absaroka Region.

“It’s not just the cars….. it’s the people.”
