At least it is trying.
Well our kick off drive to Chico Hot Springs had a great turnout. We had eleven people stay overnight at Chico, but we had eleven cars on the road trip to Gardiner, I think a good time was had by all. I would like to thank all the members that attended. It was great to see some Bozeman folks to.
Our next event is the Picnic at Pompeys Pillar on May 17th. You will find the details in the April newsletter. After our picnic and tour of Pompeys Pillar and visitor’s center, those that are interested, we will continue on that road to Custer. Then take Montana 47 to Hardin, then the Old Hardin Road home. That is a fun little road. Please bring a picnic lunch. There is a $7.00 charge per car to get into the Monument.
The Yellowstone SCCA has a full schedule planned for May. If you are interested in trying autocross check out their website for the scheduled locations. It really is a lot of fun.
I would like to welcome new members Lee & Gerry Kennedy from Worland. They drive a 2014 Black Cayman. Also, Ryan Myrup from Laurel, he drives a 1987 Red 928 S. I hope you will attend one of our functions in the future. Also thanks to Greg Kohn for his renewal.
I hope everyone is looking forward to the driving season like I am.
